Team Introduction
The principal mission of the Science & Technology Industry Division is to assist the government in planning and promoting strategies related to technological innovation as well as to carry out major government-commissioned tasks. Starting with the industry's cutting-edge technological research methodologies, the Division studies and analyzes important technology trends and industry issues from home and abroad through the operating mechanism of the technology policy issue collaboration platform. By connecting with internal and external experts and collaborating with various think tanks, the Division develops strategic programs or action plans for technology and acts as an advisor to the government by providing recommendations on important issues based on the government's strategic planning requirements. Our critical tasks include providing support for the government's proposals on technology development strategies, promoting the “Civil IoT Taiwan” project, advancing science parks and cybersecurity, selecting talents and preparing them for overseas training programs, researching and analyzing issues regarding high-tech talent, and fostering the construction of expert knowledge networks.
